Are you passionate about helping learners grow in confidence and achieve their full potential? We are a Further Education college in Mansfield, and we are looking for enthusiastic, skilled, and committed English Teachers to support us on a day-to-day basis, particularly those experienced in GCSE English delivery.

About the Role

We regularly require talented English teachers to support our learners across a range of study programmes. You will play a key role in helping young people and adult learners develop essential literacy skills, prepare for exams, and build strong foundations for future study or employment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Deliver engaging and inspiring English lessons
• Plan and assess high-quality learning that drives student progress.
• Support learners of all abilities, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Contribute to curriculum development and innovative teaching approaches.
• Work collaboratively with a supportive and friendly team.

What We’re Looking For

• A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, PTTLS etc)
• Strong subject knowledge in English, with experience teaching GCSE preferred.
• A passion for improving learner outcomes and raising aspirations.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom‑management skills.
• A commitment to inclusive, learner‑centred education.
